There are a lot of monuments, for example the Golden Crown pharmacy in Masaryk square, St. Francis Xaverius Church, the renovated building of Reduta, the Marian plague column or the archaelogical site in Sady quarter.
You can also visit the art shops, galleries or the museum. The traditional folklore of Moravian Slovakia is kept alive thanks to numerous folk ensembles.
Uherské Hradiště is the culture centre. Every summer Hvězda cinema hosts the Summer Film School, a renowned film festival. The town is known for the wines. Lots of wine cellars offer good wines as well as delicious homemade cooking.
